Everything Ain't for Everybody

Can we please stop trying to force our ways on everyone else? What works for you may not work for me, so thank you very much for the unsolicited advice, but don't be offended if I don't take it. Not knocking your advice, but everything ain't for everybody. It's great that you can do meal prep for the week, but that doesn't work for me. I barely eat leftovers the day after, now you expect me to eat something on Thursday that I made on Sunday? #Can'tDoIt
Please stop with the, "All you have to do is..." words of wisdom. When people call me and begin to vent about something, I have to stop them and literally ask, "Do you want me to just listen or do you want my advice?" Then I do as they asked. Sometimes, people just want you to listen and you should respect them enough to do that. Other times, people want advice. Try to make your advice relevant and practical (as I did right there, lol). Either way, don't judge them and don't be offended if they do the opposite of what you suggested. Sometimes the best way to help someone is to just be there to support them and listen. We're all just trying to make it and do the best we can.
